Several St Ann Councillors today chided the Jamaica Public Service, JPS for what they see as poor management of street lights in the parish.
The councillors say the light and power company is failing to respond to their calls for the installation of new streetlights and the repair of existing ones.
Among them, was Mayor of St Ann’s Bay, Michael Belnavis.
He says the tourism centric Ocho Rios is among the areas being inadequately served by the JPS.

Other councillors in St Ann also expressed dissatisfaction noting that the performance of the JPS has worsened in recent times, since parish manager, Janice Carr, was moved to another area.
