Senator Morgan Calls For Bi-partisan Commission On Financing Tertiary Education

Government Senator, Robert Morgan, is calling for the establishment of a bi-partisan commission to find sustainable solutions to funding tertiary education over the next few decades.

Senator Morgan says the Commission could also be mandated to examine issues related to the primary and secondary education sectors.

The Government Senator says there’re a range of potential ideas concerning funding tertiary education which may be examined.

He says it’s crucial for Jamaica’s future that the issue be resolved.
