Man Gunned Down Moments After Leaving Supreme Court Following Bail Hearing, Police Investigates

Police are to continue investigations today after a man who was granted bail yesterday afternoon, was gunned down on Slipe Road, in St. Andrew, just minutes after leaving the Supreme Court in downtown, Kingston.

Dead is 23-year-old Dishawn Dixon, from Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

Dixon’s mother spoke with our news centre yesterday.

She asked not to be named.

Dixon’s mother struggled to find words to explain how she felt after witnessing her son’s murder.

Dixon was gunned down on Slipe Road in the vicinity of Torrington Bridge.

Meanwhile, another passenger in the car, Winston Buddo, says, Dixon’s last words were to his mother when he was shot.
