The military base of the Jamaica Defence Force, JDF, is still on virtual shutdown, after two M-16 high-powered weapons went missing.
Chief of Defence Staff at the JDF, Lt Gen Rocky Meade told Nationwide News that entry and exit to the base is being confined as search intensify for the weapons.
Lt Gen Meade has since told our newscentre that restrictions on entry and exit have since been partially relaxed.
This is a developing story. We’ll have more in a subsequent newscast.
